EMENTA
A disciplina será conduzida individualmente, em inglês, remotamente, realizando pesquisas customizadas com cada aluno e nos dias e horários flexíveis combinados entre o respectivo aluno e o professor. This discipline seeks to encourage the students to study and to develop research studies, involving actions in the humanitarian logistics supply chain, as well as the risks, the vulnerable populations (local and from emerging countries and Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa - BRICS), and the resilience. The natural disasters (like floods, landslides, and droughts) are between the concerns of the governmental and non-governmental organizations. The impacts of the climate change gain relevance in the Global scenario and their mitigations relate to the Sustainable Development Goals (United Nations), accelerating the sustainable actions with the purpose of reducing the environmental impacts. The main topics to be studied in this discipline involve: • the development and the improvement of the humanitarian logistics concepts; • the industry 4.0 applications in order to enhance the education of the vulnerable populations; • the concepts and management of sustainability; • the concepts and comprehension of the risks, the resilience, and the vulnerable populations; • the social roles of the governmental and non-governmental organizations; • the impacts of the climate change and the Sustainable Development Goals (United Nations); • the production in English of five top journal papers, one conference paper, and ten essays.
